Parent/Child Championship

Andrew and Max Roth (The Legends Country Club) fired a sizzling 4 under Par 67 to capture the
Parent/Child Championship on Thursday Aug 1, 2024 at Algonquin Golf Club. The Roth’s
overcame the heat as the temperature was as sizzling as their 4 under Par 67. They held off
Matt and Mason Lewis (Sunset Hills Country Club), the 2019 Champions, who were only 1 shot
back at 3 under Par 68. Jack and Augie Eisenbeis (St. Louis Country Club) were only 2 shots
back at 2 under Par 69. These 3 teams were the only teams to break par. In addition all three
of these teams came out of the 17-18 Yr Old Flight..


13 & Under Flight:
Brian and Colin Parsons (Algonquin Golf Club) took advantage of their home course experience
and won their flight shooting a 4 over Par 75. One shot back was Adam and Mason Oliver
(Meadowbrook Country Club) shooting a 5 over Par 76. Finishing 3rd were Ryan and Andrew
Behrmann (Bogey Hills Country Club) at 9 over Par 80.
14-16 Yr Old Flight:
Rich and Isa Flores (Old Hickory Golf Club) won a scorecard playoff and finished 1st in their
flight with a score of 79. Placing 2nd was Kyle and Blake Laramie (Lake Forest Country Club).
3rd Place went to Facundo and Soledad Oyenard (Glen Echo Country Club).
19-27 Yr Old Flight:
Bob and Clayton Cissell (Bogey Hills Country Club), the 2011 Champions, finished 1st in their
flight shooting a 1 over Par 72. Finishing 1 shot back at 2 over Par 73 was Paul and Bailey
Zimmer (Sunset Hills Country Club). Finishing 3rd via a scorecard playoff was Bill and Brody
Vondera (Whitmoor Country Club)
28-36 Yr Old Flight:
1st Place went to Jeff and Jaxon Nagel shooting a 3 over Par 74. Finishing second via a
scorecard playoff was Jeff and Devon Myers (Meadowbrook Country Club) with Gerry and Ben
Schuetzenhofer (Sunset Hills Country Club), the 2009 Champions, finishing 3rd.
37 & Older Flight:
Steve and Alex Maurer (Dalhousie Golf Club), the 2007 Champions, won their flight shooting an
Even par 71. 3 Shots back and taking 2nd place was Terry and Ed Schultz (Meadowbrook
Country Club). Third place went to Dennis and Steve Osborne (Country Club of St. Albans,
Bogey Hills Country Club).
Forty-nine teams competed in this year’s Salomon event that featured two-person teams in a
modified selective drive/alternate shot format.
